Every seaman or seafarer need a bank account in Pakistan, in USD Currency for receiving his salary from shipping company. Opening a USD bank account in Pakistan is not very easy as we all know, there are plethora of documents required for it. But, in this post, I am going to share with you my experience in opening a dollar bank account in Pakistan.

As a seaman, to open a bank account in USD in Pakistan, please follow these steps or watch the video below.
- Keep your SSB, SID and CNIC with you and Go to Bank Al Habib, Lea Market branch, Karachi.
- There is an officer named "Mr. Shehriyar". Meet him and give my reference "Seaman Mohsin" to him.
- Give him the required documents, such as your CNIC, SSB & SID card.
- Then just sit in the chair, and he will do everything for dollar bank account for you.
- Around half hour process, he will guide you about dollar bank account and everything about it.
- In the same day, he may give you bank account number, swift code etc. everything.
- That's it.
